Jennifer Papanikolaou, Instructor

Jennifer started dancing at the age of four and studied at the School of Cleveland Ballet during the summers as a teenager.

She received a dance scholarship to study at Adelphi University in New York and graduated with a BFA in Dance. While dancing professionally in New York City she started doing pilates to help with injuries and to improve her dancing.

Jennifer trained with Romana Kryzanowska, a world-renowned protege of Joseph Pilates, at the Pilates Studio of New York and with many other master pilates instructors.  She finished her certification in 1997 and taught private and group classes in NYC until moving to Los Angeles in 1999, where she continued to teach both private and group classes in health clubs and pilates studios.

Jennifer then joined with a physical therapist in the LA area and helped start up a pilates program for the physical therapy clinic. She worked with clients who had various physical challenges and was thrilled to see the difference that the pilates method made in their therapy.  Jennifer moved back to the Cleveland area as a mom of twins and is excited to be teaching pilates at the Bodywave Pilates Studio!
